Fishing Reports

Even with the lower lake the catfish and the bass are both biting right now and with the cooler temperatures this week it should be a fun week to come down to Reelfoot Lake. Bluegill are hit and miss right now and the crappie are not biting great due to the warm temperatures.

Catfishing is in full swing here at Reelfoot Lake right now. Bluegill are biting as well, but they are real tight on there beds and not biting unless you are right on top of them. Bass fishing has also been doing well over the last few weeks.

The bluegill have started bedding up and are starting to bite really well. The crappie are also starting to bite real well again now that they are i post spawn. The bass and the catfish are also biting really well, so if you are looking for a time to come to Reelfoot and catch a variety of fish, now would be a great tome to come.

With all of the warm weather we have been having the crappie have moved to beds earlier than usual, and have started spawning as of yesterday.
